At redlime we LOVE being a part of the vibrant Calgary community and we often jump at the opportunity to work with individuals and organizations that are making Calgary a better place. We pride ourselves on working with great companies and great people and that often means we get the opportunity to do something truly special. redlime marketing is a proud sponsor of Joe's Team Calgary, an event where you can join hundreds of athletes and TRI to conquer cancer! Joe's Team hosts an annual Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon where participants race as individuals or as part of a relay team to raise awareness and funds for cancer research at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. As always, the goal remains two victories: the winning feeling of being a participant and the communal spirit of raising money to help others. As ‘regular Joes’ we all have it in us to do extraordinary things. This year's race is Saturday June 15th and you still have time to participate or volunteer! Don't worry this event is great for beginners and everyone over the age of 16 is welcome to participate. But please act fast, registration closes Thursday June 13th, 2013! ANNUAL TRICOMMITMENT CHARITY SPINATHON

Every year redlime marketing is proud to partner with Calgary triathlon store Tri It Multisport to put on the annual TriCommitment Charity Spinathon held at Eau Claire market, where hundreds of crazy athletes gather to ride their bikes indoors (all day!) in support of a deserving local charity. And 2013 was no different! We are excited to announce that the 2013 Charity Spinathon raised $10,000 for MitoCanada for research and support of individuals and families fighting Mitochondrial disease. Over 175 athletes gathered in the the Eau Claire market center court riding stationary bicycles for over 5 hrs with top Calgary coaches and triathletes leading the party! The event was capped off with a silent auction and after party to celebrate a great day for the community. redlime has been working with Tri It Multisport to raise funds for deserving individuals and organizations through the Calgary Spinathon since 2010 and to date over $40,000 has been raised.
