Shirley Blundell

Managing Partner
Marketing Communications Lead

Shirley 'kind of a big deal' Blundell is the first in the team of born and raised Calgarians, with a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business. Shirley brings over 10 years of marketing experience to the team, working with leading industry organizations including Fortune 500 Companies, educational institutions and not for profit organizations.  Her work as the Brand & Communications Manager for Shell Aviation North/South America had her working extensively with multiple agencies & stakeholders and eventually inspired her to join forces with Rafael and David to form redlime Marketing.

When's she's not kickin butt & taking names in the marketing world, Shirley can be found kickin' it on the soccer field with the Saints Major League team since retiring from the UofC Dinos. Shirley is also well known for her dodgeball finesse and singing as loud as she can while cruising in her red GTI.

David Case

Branding & Web Design Lead

David aka 'the best thing since sliced bread', is redlime's Creative Lead AND resident speed reader. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business complimented by a Diploma in Digital Media and IT from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton.

David is an accomplished professional with an extensive history providing web development, graphic design and marketing insights to industry leading companies.  Prior to joining redlime David honed his marketing research skills at D.L. Andrus and Ipsos Reid and retail marketing with Loblaw Companies Limited.

When he's not busy behind his computer screen, plugging away at amazing website designs and coding (all whilst listening to something too cool for the rest of us), David can be found out on the Calgary bike paths.

Rafael Lopez

Boy Genius, Strategic Services & PR Lead

As a young child, this member of the redlime team built a shortwave radio using an old circuit board, a few copper coils, some extra wire, and a germanium diode, aptly earning him his title as redlime's 'Boy Genius'.

Also born and raised in Calgary, Rafael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business and has experience in a number of fields including; business strategy, marketing communications, and retail marketing. Having worked with top oil companies Petro Canada and Enbridge Pipelines, Rafael also brings a wealth of Oil & Gas knowledge and experience to the redlime team and heads up the Oil & Gas Services group. 

Rafael spends his free time training for not one but 3 sports.  You can find him in Whistler this August racing in his second Ironman triathlon!  He also recently donned his skates as part of the discover hockey program, GO Bad Pandas!
